Since its debut in 2017, Hot August Night has grown into Derby’s most-loved and best summer celebration - NINE hours of fantastic live entertainment and unbeatable community spirit!

Our chosen local charity for 2026 is Derbyshire Children's Holiday Centre who provide seaside holidays in Skegness for children between the ages of six to eleven.

Our Mickleover CIC in Partnership with Mickleover Football Club
Our Mickleover is a Community Interest Company dedicated to benefiting the local community rather than generating private profit. Its wide-ranging projects are delivered by volunteers, and it was honoured with The King’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2023.
Mickleover Sports F.C., founded in 1948, began developing its own football and cricket facilities in 1982 on meadow land at the end of Station Road.
In recent years, the club has faced both challenges and successes, including league promotions, cup runs, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The move to a 3G pitch highlights its adaptability and resilience.
The club is also recognised for its strong focus on youth development, with successful academy teams and players progressing to higher levels. It remains committed to nurturing football talent and playing a key role in the Mickleover community.
